Terms of Service
1. Who we are
VaniOS is a clinical productivity tool for licensed medical practitioners in India. We are the data processor; you (the doctor or clinic) are the data fiduciary under the DPDP Act, 2023.
2. Eligibility
You must be a registered medical practitioner with a valid NMC/State Medical Council registration. By creating an account you confirm your registration number is accurate.
3. Clinical responsibility
VaniOS produces drafts (transcripts, SOAP notes, prescriptions, drug-safety flags). You remain solely responsible for clinical decisions. Always review before signing or sending to patients.
4. Acceptable use
You will not (a) impersonate other practitioners, (b) use the service for non-medical purposes, (c) attempt to extract other doctors' patient data, or (d) bypass quotas.
5. Plans, billing, and refunds
Free includes 10 consultations/month. Paid plans (Pro, Clinic, Hospital) renew monthly. Cancel any time — access continues to the end of the billing period. Refunds within 7 days of first paid charge.
6. Service availability
We target 99.5% monthly uptime. Planned maintenance is announced in-app. We are not liable for losses arising from third-party outages (telecom, cloud, government APIs).
7. Termination
You may close your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or applicable law. On termination, you can export your data for 30 days.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
